Completed 1 web banner, and started developing concepts for a new webpage promoting a dual credit program. Contributed some material to an idea board for an upcoming promotion/repositioning project.


Wednesday~


Further developed concepts and began slides for a transitioning banner highlighting students in the dual credit program.

This week


I thought of ways to reposition a product, how to implement a new slide system, and exercised creative cropping and type placement to fit within a set format.

Completed 2 web banners, one promoting the Wellness Center and one to direct students to important dates.

Friday~


Completed one web banner prompting students to complete a course evaluation and started a new project promoting Parkland's dual credit program.

This week


I continued to exercise the ability to deliver a message with as few words as possible, while considering how elements related to each other on the same page. One thing I believe I particularly succeeded in was catching and directing a viewers eye to important information.

Was introduced to the team, work-flow and website layouts I am going to be working with. Briefed on up coming projects.

Completed 2 web banners for upcoming educational and informational events. "Parkland Pathway To Illinois - open house" and "Meet The Pros - a running series of lectures from local creative professionals"

This week


I exercised the ability to translate existing print pieces in to a promotional web ad and had to work within an established set of proportions while editing content down to the most important information.
